Founded in Brisbane, Australia, HSG is a passionate, creative community who love playing, building and publishing games. HSG believes that games can connect, inspire and challenge people and are committed to helping bring this to life.

OUR History
We’re a group of people who want to make games, and so we do.
We are a passionate and talented group of people who want to make our mark in the world of games. What drove us: was to make games that we ourselves wanted to play, because we love gaming.
We worked ‘day’ jobs, juggled study and raised children - all around this passion project. As we grew, we needed a way of organising ourselves and a shared language to work together. We have self-organising teams: Arts, Narrative, Game Design, Audio and Programming. These teams each have a lead whose role ensures information flows, removes barriers and empowers their teams to let their brilliance flow. We started with the assumption that everyone could make decisions about how they did their work, and they did.
To support our ways of working we use the NeuroPower™ framework to underpin how we select people, organise our workflow, run meetings, and communicate - using insights from neuroscience, psychology and the latest thinking in the future of work practices.
